This Ethiopia Guji Natural G1 from Process Coffee is a brilliant example of why coffees from the Guji Zone have become favourites in the specialty coffee world. Known for their balance, sweetness, and layered fruit character, Guji coffees manage to be both expressive and incredibly drinkable.

This lot was processed at the Danbi Udo washing station, a producer that has built a reputation for preparing exceptional coffees from the region. Farmers handpick perfectly ripe red cherries before the coffee is carefully sorted and dried using the traditional natural process, allowing the fruit sugars to develop deep sweetness and complexity in the cup.

The result is a cup that is lively, fragrant, and beautifully sweet.

In the brew we’re tasting lemon drop candy, honey, jasmine, and red berries, finishing sweet, floral, and wonderfully balanced.

This coffee shines as a pour-over or filter brew, where its aromatics and fruit notes really open up.
